How I Became A Shamanic Healer

Early Life and Calling:

During my upbringing, I wasn't raised with a deep connection to my body insights. I never practised any sports at school, and in my family, no one taught me about energy medicine, somatic practices or yoga. It was something I had to discover by myself, trusting my heart, investigating ways to heal my wounds, connecting with my ancestor’s wisdom and baggage to remember my spiritual inner gifts.

I was lucky enough to grow up connected to Mother Nature. This drew my interest into Natural Law, the Spiritual Path and Soul’s evolution. In my twenties, I moved to a Big City, finishing a Bachelor in Communications, working for 5 years in the Corporate World. Unravelling many layers of conditioning, I quit my structured life in Latin America, to travel to India to learn more about Yoga and Meditation. Through that I started opening up into the multidimensionally of life, incorporating shamanism and Earth-based ancestral ways of healing.

Apprenticeship and Training:

I have had different teachers and wise mentors from different parts of the world and cultures. But there is nothing more valuable than life experience and my own personal and constant inner work to transform my wounds into a source of wisdom.

The capacity to support others is not obtained by the number of certifications you possess. You can read many books and do much training but to navigate deep waters with others you have to navigate these first.

From a young age, I had to learn how to be flexible. Being the third in a family of five sisters and coming from one of the southernmost cities in Latin America, allowed me to develop the capacity of deep understanding, empathy and adaptability.

My somatic practices and ancestral ways of healing helped me reconnect with the messages of my body, my intuition and purpose.

My somatic practices and ancestral ways of healing helped me reconnect with the messages of my body, my intuition and purpose. Observing my limiting patterns and subconscious programs to make a shift and become an active creator in my reality. Living an embodied life. In alignment and connection with myself and with all that exists. Having the conviction that healing is possible when we allow the forces of creation to guide us and assist us.

What I have learned during my many years of learning from different traditions and embodiment practices:

During my years practising from different healing modalities, I have learned that the body is a conduit for awakening and healing. Constantly sending us messages through our senses, emotions and thoughts to bring us back into harmony and balance. In a world that prioritises productivity and constant growth over mental health, environment, eco-systems and well-being, it can be challenging to maintain balance, purpose and to feel a sense of connection in our lives. A soul wound carried by many and reflected in our daily lives through physical imbalances, isolation, fear and scarcity.

We cannot separate body, mind and spirit. Everything is interconnected and interwoven.

This is why somatic practices are so important nowadays. We cannot separate body, mind and spirit. Everything is interconnected and interwoven. Modalities like yoga, shamanic healing and movement allow us to pay attention to the unprocessed feelings and patterns that we carry within our bodies and subconscious mind. Self awareness and consciousness are key. In the end, you are your own healer.

We must also be aware that we are not alone in this reality. There are other influences that affect us. From nature spirits to other spiritual energies. As humans we are in relation to all. We are multidimensional beings. This is why it is so important to go beyond our five senses. Tapping into our full potential and divine intelligence. Allowing synchronicities and the benevolent guidance of helping spirits, Mother Earth and ancestors to support us.

To bring balance and health into our lives, it is tremendously important to consider the right relationship within ourselves, to the land and with all that exists. Indigenous traditions have known this very well. For them, reciprocity and reverence are crucial. Not from an ethical point of view but from a deep understanding of natural law. A perspective that acknowledges the interconnection of all with no separation.

Shamanic Practices:

I offer healing that restores harmony and liberation. I have the honor to be a Mesa (altar) carrier connected to an old lineage of Andean healers, the Inca people and the Q’ero Wisdom, to offer potent Energy Medicine sessions.

I also integrate physical, mental, spiritual and the energetic body through yoga, psychosomatic practices, shamanism and earth based ancestral ways of healing to bring balance and restore the fragmentation of Self with the web of life.

From my perspective, what we experience in our physical reality is the result of many influences and factors. During my sessions, I like to address the cause of the ailment, not just the symptom. Thus, I include the transpersonal aspect of our human existence. Seeing the people who come to me as a whole, not only with a problem to be solved.

It is my humble intention to promote healing and recovery from body, mind and spirit in the right relationship to all within the fabric of cosmic creation.
