Will this be emotional or intense?

The work can be emotional, but it is never forceful. You will not be pushed into anything before your system is ready. We work with the nervous system in a way that allows you to feel safely, gently, and in manageable layers. It is not about reliving trauma. It is about meeting the part of you that learned to hold it alone, and allowing that part to soften when it finally feels safe. You stay present and supported throughout.

Do I need to know my trauma story or have clarity before starting?

No, you don't need to know your trauma story. Many people come to me not knowing exactly what is wrong, only that something feels off, heavy, numb, stuck, or overwhelming. You do not need language, a clear narrative, or a perfect memory of your past to begin. Your body already remembers. Your heart already knows. We work with what is here now. You can arrive confused, closed off, tired, or quiet. That is welcome. We begin wherever you are, and we go at your pace.

How will I know if this is right for me?

If you are tired of holding everything alone… If you’re ready to stop performing “I’m fine”… If you’re ready to feel instead of numb, soften instead of harden, return instead of run… then you are ready. You don’t need to be confident, clear, or spiritually experienced. You only need one thing: a willingness to be honest with yourself. We walk together from there.

What if I am scared to feel what I’ve been avoiding?

Fear is normal. It means the work matters. Most of us learned very early that certain emotions were unsafe, too much, or unacceptable. You do not have to dive into anything alone. We meet what arises with gentleness, curiosity, and care. You will not be overwhelmed. We learn to feel in a way that strengthens you instead of breaking you open.

“I’ve tried so many things… why hasn’t anything worked for me yet?

Many people spend years working on their patterns, symptoms, or thoughts - but never actually reach the root of what is driving them. Talk therapy, mindset work, affirmations, coaching, and many forms of energy, somatic or wellness practices can absolutely help with coping with the symptoms, understanding, and stabilizing. These approaches can be incredibly supportive, and for many people, they form an important part of the journey. However, the deepest wounds we carry are not only psychological, behavioural or energetic - they are found at the deepest layers of our true essence, our soul, and are what is known in the Andean Inka Q'ero lineage I am initiated in as 'soul wounds'. A soul wound forms in the moments where we had to abandon ourselves to survive. Where we were not met, not seen, not safe, or not allowed to be who we truly were. This creates a kind of internal fragmentation that no amount of thinking, positive reframing, energy work or willpower alone can resolve. You can learn to manage symptoms for years… but until the wound is healed at the level it was created, it continues to resurface - often in more intense, painful, confusing, or repeating ways. This is why my work goes to the deepest layer - the place where the split, the grief, the shutting down, the numbness, the pain, or the self-protection first formed a wound in the soul. This is not something we force or “fix.” It is something we remember, re-meet, reclaim, and re-integrate. This is the heart of shamanic healing: to bring home the parts of ourselves we had to leave behind in order to survive. And like you would take great care in choosing a surgeon to operate on your physical body - it’s wise to take the same care in choosing who you allow to work with your emotional and spiritual body. This is delicate territory. It requires training, lineage, safety, nervous system awareness, and lived experience - not just techniques. Not all practitioners are trained for this depth - and that’s okay. Every modality has its place. Every approach serves a purpose. My work simply lives in the layer that many people never get to - the layer where true change begins.
