What happens in a hypnotherapy session?

Hypnotherapy is a gentle modality where I guide you into a state of relaxation and speak softly to your subconscious, based on what you want to work on. Sometimes we may do some talking while under hypnosis and other times that isn’t necessary. You are in complete control at all times and for each person they experience it differently. Some people hear every word, some tune out and don’t hear much and other people flow in and out of listening. I record the session and send it the recording afterwards to keep for life.

What is somatic therapy?

Somatic therapy involves supporting a person to build a sense of safety in the body. From that place we can process what is happening in the body. We can process trauma, stress, anxiety and intense emotions. It also involves supporting people to build the capacity to hold big emotions in a regulated way.
